2006-2007 MYLA Scholarship Applications Now Available

ST. PAUL, MN - For this year MYLA has announced ten scholarships worth a total of more than $27,000. The breakdown of the scholarship can be found in the NEWS section of our website.

MYLA is looking for outstanding and motivated leaders who are enthusiastic about helping the local Muslim community in Minnesota. The scholarship is open to any student in a four-year academic institution; this includes high-school seniors, undergraduate students, professional students, and graduate students.

Once applications are received, the selection committee will review each candidate's application package. Award recipients will be announced in late August 2006.

The deadline for the 2005-2006 Academic year has passed. We hope everyone had an opportunity to submit their applications. Recipients of the scholarship will be notified in early August, subsequently a banquet will be held honoring the recipients.
